Sony has announced the launch of the PS5 Firmware beta program. Just like it did on PS4, the firmware beta program will allow people who register to test the latest PS5 firmware updates before they’re released to the general public.
Right now, it seems as though it’ll only be open to residents of the U.S, Canada, Japan, UK, Germany and France. It’s surprising Australia isn’t included so hopefully that changes in the near future.
You can sign up at this link HERE. (we’ll let you know if Australia does become eligible to join the program)
Sony says that it’ll detail what to expect in the next update in the coming weeks. The last major update introduced USB extended storage, cross-generation share play, and improved game base and UI improvements.
