Elden Ring Has Been Delayed But The Network Test Is Still Happening Soon

Bandai Namco has confirmed that Elden Ring will be delayed. The game was originally supposed to release in January but it’s received a five week delay and will now release on February 25th.

On the game’s Twitter account, From Software said: “ELDEN RING will release on Feb 25, 2022, as the depth & strategic freedom of the game exceeded initial expectations. Thank you for your trust & patience. We look forward to seeing you experience the game in the Closed Network Test in Nov.”

The Elden Ring Closed Network test will take place in the middle of November at the below dates. Those that want to register to be apart of it can do so HERE.

AUSTRALIAN ELDEN RING CLOSED NETWORK TEST DATES:

  • November 12: 12:00 to 15:00 CET (21:00 Nov 12 to 1:00 Nov 13 AEST)
  • November 13: 4:00 to 7:00 CET (13:00 Nov 13 to 16:00 Nov 13 AEST)
  • November 13: 20:00 to 23:00  CET (5:00 Nov 14 to 8:00 Nov 14 AEST)
  • November 14: 12:00 to 15:00 CET (21:00 Nov 14 to 1:00 Nov 15 AEST)
  • November 15: 4:00 to 7:00 CET (13:00 Nov 15 to 16:00 Nov 15 AEST)

The start of the year is set to be even more jam packed now. Elden Ring and Saints Row release on the same day, Horizon Forbidden West is one week earlier and Dying Light 2 is just a couple of weeks earlier in the start of February.
