With the release of The Matrix Resurrections just around the corner, it seems as though at least one simulated cat has been let out of the digital bag early.
As shared on Reddit, savvy users have uncovered a listing in PlayStation’s database for something called “The Matrix Awakens: An Unreal Engine 5 Experience”, complete with its own accompanying thumbnail image.

It’s still very unclear as to what this might entail, but it’s safe to assume it’ll probably be some kind of short, free tie-in to the upcoming movie and not a traditional game release. All we know so far is that it’s listed as a PlayStation 5 product.
We may also see more on it at The Game Awards, which are happening next Friday, December 10.
