PS5 users in North America are reporting that they have been alerted to a brand new feature on their PS5. This new auto upload feature allows PS5 users to set their PS5 to automatically uploaded all screenshots and video capture to the PlayStation mobile app, where they’ll be stored in the cloud and kept for two weeks (on your app).
This makes getting screenshots and video capture off the PS5 much easier. As of now, I don’t think this feature appears to be running on PS5s in Australia, but it will surely be rolling out to the rest of the world over the coming hours/days.

The feature is described as below:
Automatically upload your latest screenshots and video clips, and view them on the PlayStation app.
They’ll be available on your PlayStation App for 14 days after you create them. Note that your video clips are limited to three minutes or less. You can change the auto upload setting at any time by going to [Capture and Broadcasts on your PS5].
It’s worth noting that the Xbox Series X/S both have this feature and it’s super useful to get screenshots and capture off your console before sending them to other platforms.
