The BAFTA Games Awards event has come and gone once again, and in its 18th year has celebrated the excellence of the last year of gaming with some top-notch titles being awarded.
Notably, it was PlayStation and Housemarque’s frantic sci-fi roguelike shooter Returnal, which just received a huge free update, that picked up the coveted ‘Best Game’ win. Last year it was another roguelike, Hades, that took out the top category at the event.
Winners in other categories include The Artful Escape for Artistic Achievement, Unpacking for Narrative and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart for both Animation and Technical Achievement. You can watch the awards ceremony in full here:
