Death Stranding

Death Stranding 2 Is Now In Development According To Norman Reedus

All the strands!

It was assumed that Kojima Productions’ would likely work on another Death Stranding game in the future, but Norman Reedus, the character that plays Sam Bridges seems to have confirmed that work has just started on the game.

In an interview with online publication Leo Edit, Reedus said “we just started the second one” in relation to being asked about how the original game came to be and how he found that process.

Speaking about how he got involved with the original game, Reedus said “Then I was in San Diego and Hideo came with a big group of people, he’s from Tokyo, and he showed me what he was working on a game called Silent Hill. I was blown away by what he was showing me, and I was like, ‘Yes, let’s do this.’ It’s not Ms. Pacman; it’s so realistic, it’s so futuristic, it’s so complicated and beautiful, and I was completely blown away.”

Obviously, we’d expect Death Stranding 2 to be quite a few years off if it has just started development, and it’s unclear what Kojima Productions has bee working on in the last few years if it has just started development, but we’ll keep you posted as hear more.
