A brand new open world Terminator game has been announced at Nacon Direct this morning. The announcement was made alongside a teaser trailer that is very, very cool.
It’s a survival game that takes place in a post-apocalyptic world and features an original story that builds on the events of the films. The game will be set in a time period between Judgment Day and the creation of John Connor’s existence.
The game is being developed by a studio separate to the one that created the recent Terminator Resistance. It’s being handled by Nacon Studio Milan who most recently developed Rims Racing.
“Just a tease for the future, but if you couldn’t tell, we’re big fans of 80’s movies, and our team at Nacon Studio Milan is working on the first survival game set in the Terminator universe” the studio said.
Obviously, it seems like the game is still a ways off, but it’s good to see more Terminator nonetheless.
