After being first teased back in mid-2022, Nacon Studio Milan’s survival game set in the world of the iconic Terminator franchise has been given an official title and initial release date at the just-debuted Nacon Connect 2024.
Officially dubbed Terminator: Survivors, it’s se to be an open-world survival game with an original story taking place after the first two Terminator films. In it, players will embody a group of Judgment Day survivors either solo or with up to three friends, while being hunted by Skynet’s machines, squaring off against other humans in the fight for resources and generally just trying to survive in the post-robopocalyptic world. Players will have a home base to protect and advance as they discover key materials and other survivors in the world, using a mix of combat and stealth when faced with enemies – especially the indestructible and constantly hunting Terminator.
To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the franchise this year, Terminator: Survivors will launch as an early access title on October 24th this year, with a console release to follow at a later date.
