Skull and Bones Delayed

Skull And Bones Has Been Delayed Again

A big one.

Skull and Bones was originally due to release in November, years and years after it was originally revealed, but it has now been delayed until March 9th, 2023 which is quite a significant delay given how close to launch we are.

The decision to delay the game was to polish and balance the game after feedback was given from players in the insider program.

Obviously, with Skull and Bones originally set to launch alongside God of War Ragnarok and Sonic Frontiers, it’s not the worst decision, but this game has been delayed a whopping five times now and the first quarter of next year isn’t exactly quiet either.

In a Tweet, the team had the below to say:

“Important news to all of our aspiring captains

Today we’d like to give you an update regarding our release date. Although Skull and Bones’ development is finished at this stage, the invaluable feedback received during our various technical tests and insider program convinced us we could use a bit of extra time to polish and balance the experience even further and ensure you all get the best experience we can offer.

We have therefore decided to push our initial launch date to 9th March, 2023. We will be organising more insider program sessions to continue gathering feedback, and in case you haven’t had the chance to participate yet, you can also look forward to our open beta in the near future. Thank you for your support and stay tuned for more information.”
