Here’s A New Look At The Splinter Cell Remake Via Fresh Concept Art

Looking good, Sam.

Ubisoft is celebrating 20 years of Splinter Cell with a new, 20-minute video featuring some of the development team behind the upcoming Splinter Cell remake.

Announced nearly a year ago, the remake is still something of a mystery with this latest feature video representing the most we’ve seen of it so far. It’s a great watch for fans of the franchise or anyone curious about what makes Splinter Cell such a memorable experience for those who played it originally, with in-depth discussions on the early games’ use of lighting, player freedom and more to make it a truly next-level stealth experience. Check it out below:

Alongside this video, we also have a new look at the Splinter Cell remake via some fresh concept art which you can see below or over on the official Ubisoft website. Naturally it’s hard to glean much from concept art but it does all look great and very indicative of the tone that the studio is going for and how they’re interpreting the original game/s stylistically:

Starting now and running until November 30th, you’ll also be able to nab yourself a copy of the original Splinter Cell for PC for absolutely nothing. If you’ve never given it a crack, or it’s been a while since you’ve revisited Sam Fisher’s debut, it’s well worth downloading this one while it’s going gratis:
