After recently announcing the release date for the next major update to Disney Dreamlight Valley, Gameloft has given us even more info on what to expect in terms of new content.
On top of adding the Toy Story realm and introducing Buzz and Woody to the game world, Update 2 will seemingly also be adding Stitch as a new friend as well as some new outfits for at least a couple of the other NPCs to don.
This comes via the newest key art for the game, which was revealed in the below Tweet. It’s unclear if the outfits that Mickey and Merlin are wearing are an indication that players will soon be able to customise their Disney friends in-game or if it’s simply a seasonal change to their default looks.

In other Dreamlight Valley happenings, players have discovered a redemption code that adds a mysterious Golden Potato item in-game, but as of yet nobody has been able to work out what it does. The item can’t be used, sold, eaten, buried, cooked, crafted or even dropped. Hopefully the December 6 update brings more answers to this mystery, but if you’re curious in the meantime you can claim the Golden Potato for yourself by entering this code in the game’s settings > help menu:
