Resident Evil Village Will Be On PlayStation VR2 At Launch As A Free DLC For The Main Game

Great news for Lady D stans!

Capcom has announced the release schedule for the PlayStation VR2 version of Resident Evil Village, and it’s great news all around.

In a post on the PlayStation Blog, Producer Kanda Tsuyoshi revealed that the entirety of RE Village’s campaign will be playable on the PS VR2 on the same day Sony’s new headset launches, February 22nd, 2023.

The optional VR mode will be coming as a free DLC to the base game, so anyone who owns or purchases Resident Evil Village will be able to play on their PS VR2 headsets at no extra cost.

The game’s VR functionality will take full advantage of the headset’s 4K HDR display and eye tracking to produce incredible visuals, and enable intuitive combat and exploration through the Sense controllers.
