Developer Polyarc has announced that it’s bringing the PlayStation VR and Meta Quest 2 favourites, Moss and Moss: Book II, to the PlayStation VR2 when Sony’s new PS5-powered headset launches on February 22, 2023.
Both titles, released in 2018 and 2022 respectively, have been amongst the most cherished VR video games in recent years with a plucky, adorable hero and fantastic use of the unique perspectives afforded by VR to present a storybook-like adventure of epic (well, for a mouse) proportions.
In a PlayStation Blog post announcing the games’ releases on the new platform, the studio describes how the PS VR2 enhances the Moss experience even further. It’ll feature haptic feedback and an improved control scheme through the PS VR2 Sense controllers, adaptive trigger support, eye tracking that highlights interactable objects when players look at them, 4K visuals with improved textures and lighting and more.
The games are available to pre-order now on the PlayStation Store, either individually or as a bundle with an extra 10% for PlayStation Plus subscribers.
