PlayStation Has Added New Trophies To Some Of Its PS1/PSP Classics

Calling all trophy hunters!

It seems as though PlayStation has been quietly adding trophies to some of its catalogue of PS Classics, adding extra incentive for trophy hunters to buy into the Deluxe tier of PlayStation Plus.

As picked up on by users on Resetera, at least three first-party published titles have had trophy support retroactively added in over the last week, including Super Stardust Ultra, No Heroes Allowed and Jumping Flash! all which now have Platinum trophies up for grabs.

Prior to this, a number of other Classics had trophies available but it’s definitely far from a guaranteed feature with new drops to the catalogue.

PlayStation Plus Classics Games With Trophy Support:

  • Ape Escape (PS1)
  • Everybody’s Golf (PS1)
  • Everybody’s Golf 2 (PS1)
  • I.Q.: Intelligent Qube (PS1)
  • Jumping Flash! (PS1)
  • Syphon Filter (PS1)
  • Syphon Filter 2 (PS1)
  • Syphon Filter 3 (PS1)
  • Wild Arms (PS1)
  • Pinball Heroes (PSP)
  • No Heroes Allowed (PSP)
  • Super Stardust Portable (PSP)

The last drop of new games to the PlayStation Plus Extra/Deluxe tiers included two of the above games with Syphon Filter 3 and Everybody’s Golf 2, so it’ll be interesting to see what new Classics we get in a couple of weeks and if any more new trophy lists crop up for eager hunters to get stuck into.
