Horizon Call Of The Mountain Has Officially Gone Gold

It's the climb.

Guerrilla Games has announced that Horizon Call of the Mountain, its new PlayStation VR2-exclusive entry in the Horizon franchise, has gone gold ahead of its February 22nd release.

This means the game is essentially done and ready for release, priming it to be the killer app for the PS VR2 hardware when it launches on the same day.

Guerrilla said in a tweet announcing the milestone, “We’re thrilled to share some exciting news today: Horizon Call of the Mountain has gone GOLD! Not long to go before you can step into the adventure.”

Horizon Call of the Mountain will have PS VR2 players ascending the towering peaks of the Carja Sundom as Ryas, a disgraced former soldier, and unravelling a new mystery surrounding the machines to redeem themselves and save their people. Players will even get to meet Aloy, other familiar faces, and new characters along the way.
