Baldur’s Gate 3 Has A Release Date And It’s Also Coming To PS5

For the flayers.

Baldur’s Gate 3 has finally secured a date for its full release, over two years after its original Early Access launch.

The game will launch as a complete product on August 31st this year, both for PC/Mac and with a newly-announced PS5 version.

Larian Studios made the announcement during today’s PlayStation State of Play showcase, with a sexy new trailer to go along with it, which you can watch right here:

“From the creators of Divinity: Original Sin 2 comes a next-generation RPG set in the Forgotten Realms. Gather your party and return to Baldur’s Gate in a tale of fellowship and betrayal, sacrifice and survival, and the lure of absolute power. Mysterious abilities are awakening inside you, drawn from a Mind Flayer parasite planted in your brain. Resist, and turn darkness against itself. Or embrace corruption, and become ultimate evil.

The game will be playable in two-player local splitscreen co-op on a single PS5, or up to four players online.
