Resident Evil 4 Is Getting A Demo Soon

What're ya tryin'?

During today’s PlayStation State of Play presentation, Capcom showed off a brand-new trailer for Resident Evil 4, giving fans another fantastic look at how the remake is shaping up.

The trailer is well worth a watch for the fresh looks at some iconic characters and moments, like Krauser, Luis, the mine cart sequence and of course Leon suplexing baddies. It all looks incredibly gorgeous and is sure to have fans even more excited for the full thing.

Most importantly though, we got the announcement that a playable demo of the game will be coming to the PS5 and PS4 in the near future. There was no confirmation of what the demo would entail or when it will drop, but the full game is just a month away now so the wait surely won’t be long.

Alongside the demo announcement, it was also revealed that The Mercenaries mode would make a return as a free DLC some time after the game’s launch.

Just recently, Capcom also announced that Resident Evil 4 will be getting a PlayStation VR2 mode as free, post-launch DLC, but details are similarly scarce beyond that.

Resident Evil 4 is coming to PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S and PC on March 24, 2023. Amazon has the cheapest pre-order price at $84.99 with free shipping.
