The First Batch Of PlayStation Plus Extra Games For March Has Been Announced

Including Tchia!

Sony used this morning’s PlayStation State of Play presentation to announce release dates for some upcoming titles, including the new-Caledonian indie adventure, Tchia.

It was also announced that the game would be coming to PlayStation Plus Extra/Deluxe subscribers when it launches on March 21st. Alongside Tchia, Sony also dropped a few other titles that will become available for subscribers on both upgraded tiers to download as part of the Game Catalog.

The announced inclusions are:

  • Immortals Fenyx Rising
  • Rainbow Six Extraction
  • Tchia
  • Uncharted: Legacy Of Thieves Collection
  • Ghostwire Tokyo

It’s definitely not a full list of the month’s offerings, of course, but it’s nice to know ahead of time that some top-notch games are coming to the service soon.

WHAT ARE THE PLAYSTATION PLUS TIERS?

In case you need a refresher, the PlayStation Plus tiers are explained below:

  • PlayStation Plus Essential: Get access to online play as well as two free PS4 games and one free PS5 games every month as well as exclusive discounts
  • PlayStation Plus Extra: PlayStation Plus Extra includes the previous Essential tier benefits as well as a catalogue of over 400 downloadable PS4/PS5 games including the likes of Horizon Forbidden West, Returnal, Ghost of Tsushima, Death Stranding, Stray and more.
  • PlayStation Plus Deluxe: PlayStation Plus Deluxe includes the previous Essential/Extra benefits as well as a catalogue of classic PlayStation PS1/PSP/PS2 games including the likes of Ape Escape, Syphon Filter, The Legend of Dragoon, Resident Evil Director’s Cut and more. These classic games now include different display options, the ability to rewind and some even include trophies. It also includes time-limited game trials for titles such as God of War Ragnarok.
