PlayStation is continuing its accessibility journey, one that’s seen some of its first-party titles champion some best-in-class features within games as well as the recent reveal of the Project Leonardo accessibility controller, with a small but meaningful UI update over on the PlayStation Store.
Accessibility Tags is a new storefront features being rolled out to PS5 consoles in an early state, allowing players to get a detailed look at what accessibility features each game offers before deciding to make a purchase – making it easier to identify whether individual games will be playable/comfortable for each player before spending money.

To see a game’s Accessibility Tags once the feature is live, players will just need to press the ‘Triangle’ button when looking at a game on the PlayStation Store, with more than 50 different tags available for developers to flag their games with as of the initial roll-out, some of which include:
At launch, PlayStation will have prepared Accessibility Tags for Days Gone, Death Stranding Director’s Cut, Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut, God of War, God of War Ragnarök, Gran Turismo 7, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, and Returnal, and has committed to working with a range of third-party developers and publishers to implement the feature more widely across both PS5 and PS4 titles on the platform.
