A brand-new The Walking Dead game has been announced, and it’s a narrative-driven third person action adventure in development for current and last-gen consoles as well as PC.
The game is set to capture the events of seasons 1-4 of the television show, starting players off as Rick Grimes across key locations from the series, but will reportedly allow players to make choices in key moments of the story that can potentially have different outcomes to the series’ canonical events.
The Walking Dead: Destinies will apparently feature over a dozen characters from the AMC show, who will have their own unique abilities, and the game will feature resource management alongside weapons like bats, swords, guns and crossbows. It’s in development for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch and PC at Flu Games and being published by GameMill Entertainment (Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, Dreamworks All-Star Kart Racing).
