IGN has exclusively revealed that a sequel to the 2021 licensed platform fighter, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, is currently in development at Ludosity and Fair Play Labs through publisher GameMill Entertainment.

Aptly dubbed Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2, the game is set to release on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch and PC at an unannounced date.

The original game launched to middling reviews, but saw some pretty consistent updates and improvements including the much-requested addition of voice acting for its roster of recognisable characters, something that was sorely missing at launch.

The sequel promises “New characters, new stages, improved graphics, and more” including voice acting from day one and crossplay. The game’s single player campaign will reportedly have players attempt to stop Danny Phantom antagonist Vlad Plasmius from taking over the Nickelodeon universe.
