Toys For Bob has updated its website simply showing off a purple Tiki that is reminiscent of Aku Aku from Crash Bandicoot series prompting people to believe that an announcement for a new Crash Bandicoot game is on the way.
Pulling out the image link does indeed confirm that it is a Tiki mask as well – “TFB_LogoVector_TikiMask-purple”.
It’s a cheeky tease though, as obviously the purple is Tiki which ties into the other new game that they could be working on in Spyro The Drago, so it’ll be interesting to see if it’s maybe a crossover game, or something to throw us off all together.

Interestingly enough, Toys for Bob recently announced that it is going independent but it’s been reported that their first game as an independent studio is being developed for Xbox to produce “something along the lines of what the company has produced in the past”.
Toys For Bob has recently been behind Crash Bandicoot 4, the Spyro remasters as well as Skylanders, so this definitely fits the mould of the tease on the website.
If this is to be true, it’s expected that it’ll be revealed at the Xbox Games Showcase in the second week of June, and it’s more than likely that the next Crash and/or Spyro games could indeed be exclusive to the Xbox.
