Digital Foundry has published its report of Assassin’s Creed Shadows running on the PS5 Pro, and it’s one of the best examples of its power so far.
Interestingly enough, Assassin’s Creed Shadows was originally suppose to launch at the same time as the PS5 Pro, so it definitely feels like the console launch would have benefited from having this game at launch.
The PS5 Pro version features Ray-Traced Global Illumination in performance mode, which is only available at the 30FPS mode on the PS5 and Xbox Series X, which makes for a big difference in making the world feel immersive and alive.
The resolution in quality mode is in-creased on the PS5 Pro and the PS5 Pro also featured ray-traced reflections in quality mode which isn’t available on the base PS5 and Xbox Series X.
Balanced mode (40FPS) is also a higher resolution on the PS5 Pro in comparison to that of the Xbox Series X and base PS5.
