The year just keeps filling out with yet another huge game set to release in the middle part of the year. Mafia: The Old Country is set to release on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC on August 8th.
According to Gematsu, 2K accidentally revealed the release date for Mafia: The Old Country in a Steam blog post about the game being at PAX Eat 2025. “Mafia: The Old Country will be available on August 8, 2025. Pre-orders are available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam.”
Mafia: The Old Country is a mob story set in 1900s Sicily which is far before any other Mafia game that has released. You’ll play as Enzo Favara in this third-person action adventure.
It seems very clear that we’ll get to see more about the game on May 9th at the PAX East panel, and we’ll seemingly get the release date officially then as well before it releases later this year in August.
