PlayStation Plus Is Getting A Price Increase In Australia For New Subscribers

PlayStation has announced that PlayStation Plus is getting a price increase for new customers starting May 20. The price will not change for current subscribers in Australia, unless their existing subscription changes or expires.

The new pricing for new PlayStation Plus subscriptions are:

  • $14.95 for 1 month subscription
  • $43.95 for 3 month subscription
  • $112.95 for 12 month subscription

In a statement to Press Start, PlayStation said:

“Like many companies around the world, we continue to be impacted by global market conditions and have adjusted prices for new PlayStation Plus subscribers in select regions. The price for new customers in Australia will be from $14.95 for a one-month subscription, from $43.95 for a three-month subscription and from $112.95 for a 12-month subscription. There will be no change for existing subscribers in Australia. Existing subscribers will update to the new pricing if they lapse or change their current subscription.”
