Samsung has overnight announced the Samsung Galaxy S22 range including the new flagship Galaxy S22 Ultra, the S22 and S22+ as well as Galaxy Tab S8 tablet range. Without question, the new Samsung Galaxy 22 Ultra is the star of the show, bringing the S-pen to smaller suite of devices for the first time.
SAMSUNG GALAXY S22 ULTRA
The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra has a 6.8″ QHD+ AMOLED 2X display with a 140Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz sampling rate in game mode. The biggest new feature of the Samsung Galaxy S22 is the fact that it come with a brand new S-Pen, which makes it the first S Series device to include a built in S-Pen. As far as the camera goes, it has a 108MP wide lens, 12 MP ultra-wide lens, 10MP telephone lens (3x/10x zoom) and a 40MP front camera. Night photography is a big focus with the S22 Ultra. It also has the longest battery life of a Samsung Galaxy S series device yet. When it comes to performance the device uses a brand new 4nm processor which should result in better performance.

Sitting just below the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is the Samsung Galaxy S22 and S22+, which doesn’t come with the integrated pen. The S22 has a 6.1″ FHD+ display whilst the S22+ has a larger 6.6″ FHD+ display. Both have 120Hz capable displays and four camera lenses including a 12MP ultra-wide lens, a 50 MP wide lens, a 10MP telephoto lens with 3X optical zoom and a 10MP front camera. Just like the new Ultra, night photography is a big focus with these camera which lets more light in at night. Just like the Ultra, the S22 and S22+ both have a 4nm processor.
