There’s A Death Stranding Limited Edition Backbone One Controller On The Way

Backbone and Kojima Productions have revealed an exciting new partnership, announcing a special BACKBONE One – Death Stranding Limited Edition Controller.

The controller, which will be available in limited quantities, is compatible with both iPhone 15 and Android devices with a USB-C connection, but is aimed primarily at iPhone users to celebrate the upcoming release of Death Stranding Director’s Cut for iPhone 15, iPad and Mac. Each purchase of the controller will also come with a copy of Death Stranding Director’s Cut for iOS.

The controller itself sports a translucent yellow front shell and a gold and black back, with the Kojima Productions logo visible on the inner side of the backplate.

So far, pre-order pages will open on January 30th direct from Backbone or the Kojima Productions Store in the US and Japan only, but Aussie fans can sign up for email updates on this page.

Death Stranding Director’s Cut will be available on the Apple App Store at $29.99 (a 50% discount) for those that pre-order and will come with universal purchase meaning that you’ll be able to play it on all of your compatible Apple devices with cross-save with just one purchase.

The game will come with the Director’s Cut content with new locations, a bunch of new delivery assists and more additional content.
