In case you’re unaware, there was a fairly big change to the Australian media landscape today with Facebook effectively blocking Australian news publishers from sharing our content. This essentially means that we can no longer (at least for the moment) post our articles onto our Facebook page and Facebook groups. It also means that you won’t be able to share our articles onto Facebook anymore.
We know that a lot of you get our content in this way whilst scrolling our feeds, so we wanted to make sure that you were aware of all the ways that you could stay up to date with the latest Press Start news, reviews and bargains.
SIGN UP TO OUR EMAIL MAILING LIST
We often send out an email when there’s a major event happening (like today’s Nintendo Direct or a great sale), but we’ll likely increase these to be more frequent. You can sign up to our mailing list RIGHT HERE or at the bottom of this page.
FOLLOW US ON TWITTER
This is probably going to the best way to get breaking news as it comes in. You can follow our Twitter account HERE and even turn notifications on to be notified every time we tweet out a breaking news story, bargain or a next-gen drop.
LISTEN TO OUR DAILY NEWS ON SMART SPEAKERS/PODCAST SERVICES
We post an audio update every day with the top news stories that you need to know. You can subscribe on Apple Podcasts and Spotify. If you’re listening on a Google Home or Amazon Alexa device, you can find out instructions on how to listen HERE.
We know it’s old-fashioned and we know that so many of you already visit the website homepage every day, but the reality is that in the meantime, you might have to visit our website more frequently to stay up to date with breaking news and the latest in games here in Australia. Visit our website, bookmark it, maybe even set it as your homepage.
FOLLOW US ON APPLE NEWS
If you’re using Apple News, we’ve got a channel there that will be updated as soon as posts are pushed live. You can follow it HERE.
