Microsoft Is Having A Targeted Sale For Xbox Game Pass

The good news? Microsoft is selling off months to Xbox Game Pass for half price (even more than half in some regions). The bad news? It’s a targeted sale and not everybody is seeing it and we’re unsure of the criteria.

Game Pass has already had a positive start to the year with Microsoft announcing that all of its first-party releases will be available day one for subscribers. So by paying one monthly fee, you’ll get Sea of Thieves, Crackdown 3, State of Decay 2 and any other first-party Microsoft titles that happen to drop.

It’s a great value deal that a lot are sure to jump on.

TrueAchievements reports that the discount for Xbox Game Pass is significant, though not consistent. Members in America are seeing half-price discounts, while European users are seeing savings closer to 66%.

You do need Xbox Live Gold to be eligible, they claim. Also, the months bought apply themselves immediately and cannot be saved for a later date. Users are claiming that though there’s no option to buy multiple months, buying them one-by-one stacks them.

Head over to the Microsoft store to see if you’re one of the lucky ones this deal is available for, because, with Sea of Thieves around the corner, there’s no better time to sign up.
