Microsoft has confirmed to IGN that State Of Decay 2 will release on May 22nd. What is most surprising is the fact that there’s going to be a standard version of the game for $29.99 USD (probably about $39 AUD) and an Ultimate Edition which includes early access and other content going forward for $49.99 USD (Probably about $65 AUD).
I got to see an extended look at the game at E3 last year and it looked like a fully fledged title, so I’m kind of surprised with the budget pricing, but then again, you can grab this game with Game Pass on day one, so maybe Microsoft are dropping the price in hopes that people buy it rather than pick it up on Game Pass.
