When the Xbox Series X was announced, we knew it was going to be larger than the Xbox One X (which in my opinion is one of the nicest consoles to ever release), but now that we’ve gotten our first proper look at the Xbox Series X (as well as the full specs for the console), we can tell just how big it is.
We now know that it will be 301mm tall, 151mm deep and 151mm wide. For comparison sake, we know that the Xbox One X is 59mm tall, 300mm wide and 240mm deep. When you put the dimensions next to each other, they don’t seem too different, but it’s the fact that the Xbox Series X stands vertically, that makes it look a lot bigger than it actually is.

Microsoft know that people will be poking fun at this (it’s been the centre of many memes since it was announced), which is why it’s put out an image next to a black refrigerator with dimensions of both products. In all honesty, I really like the design of the Xbox Series X too. It’s a little different, but it’s obviously been designed that way for airflow reasons, and it looks like the sleeker, more superior version of the Xbox One X.
