Ever the wellspring of value, Xbox Game Pass is welcoming a handful of new games this month to make self-isolating an appealing prospect. Of course, as is the nature of a subscription service made up of rotating games, this means a number of games also exit the program.
Already added to Xbox Game Pass this month are the Become as Gods edition of NieR: Automata and Totally Reliable Delivery Service, while retro-style, ID@Xbox role-playing game Alvastia Chronicles is joining the ranks on April 9. If that isn’t your bag, you might prefer Journey to the Savage Planet, available on the same day, which drops you on an uncharted world with little resources and no plan to speak of.
The other side of the coin is Game Pass for PC, which recently added Overcooked! 2 and is about to welcome Football Manager 2020, Alvastia Chronicles, Mistover and Stranger Things 3: The Game.
The games sadly leaving Game Pass are as follows:
- The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 (Xbox)
- Fez (PC)
- Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition (Xbox)
- Into the Breach (PC)
- MX vs ATV Reflex (Xbox)
- Prey (Xbox and PC)
- Samurai Showdown II (Xbox)
- Valkyria Chronicles (PC)
After April 15, you’ll no longer be able to play these games, though that doesn’t mean you can’t make use of your Game Pass member discounts of up to 20% to purchase any of them before they leave for good.
