Where To Pre-Order The Xbox Series X/S In Australia

It’s day we’ve been waiting for. Less than 24 hours to go until Xbox Series X/S Pre-Orders open in Australia. Xbox Series X/S Pre-orders will open at 8am AEST on Tuesday, September 22nd in Australia. Just as a reminder, both consoles release on November 10th and will cost $749 and $499 AUD respectively. Some of the product links are already live and we’ve linked where possible.

UPDATE 8:21PM If you’re still looking for Xbox Series X/S pre-orders, the Microsoft Store still has 2020 stock. You can find the Xbox Series X here and the Xbox Series S HERE.

AMAZON XBOX SERIES X PRE-ORDER

So far, Amazon only has the Xbox Series X listed. It’s worth mentioning that Amazon don’t charge until the product ships, they also have free shipping and you can cancel at anytime. They also had $30 off the PS5 (which you get to use on your next purchase), so it’ll be interesting to see if they offer it for Xbox Series X.

TELSTRA: XBOX ALL ACCESS XBOX SERIES X PRE-ORDER

As a reminder, Telstra post-paid customers can take advantage of Xbox All Access, which will mean that you will pay your Xbox Series X/S off over a 24 month period, inclusive of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. It actually works out to be cheaper than buying the consoles out right with Game Pass Ultimate.

The Xbox Series X will cost $46 a month which comes to $1,104 at the end of the 24 month period, whilst the Xbox Series S will cost $33 a month which ends up being $792 at the end of the 24 month period.

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE XBOX SERIES X AND XBOX SERIES S

The key differences between the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S is the fact that Xbox Series X targets 4K/60FPS (up to 120 FPS) whilst the Xbox Series S targets 1440p/60FPS (up to 120 FPS). It’s also worth mentioning that the Xbox Series S does not have a disc drive, and it also only has a 512GB HD which is half of the Xbox Series X 1TB.
