The Future Of Assassin’s Creed Will Be Revealed In September

There’s a new roguelite mode, though!

During this morning’s Assassin’s Creed live stream, it was confirmed that we’ll be learning more about the future of the franchise at an event Ubisoft will be holding in September.

“Join us this September as we unveil the future of Assassin’s Creed during a very special event,” Assassin’s Creed’s community developer Alice Terrett confirmed.

“We can’t wait to show you what’s in store.”

The stream itself can be viewed right here:

While we’re aware of Assassin’s Creed Infinity, the upcoming live-service game set to span multiple historical eras, another project has been rumoured to exist. It’s codenamed Rift and apparently began life as a simple expansion before growing into something larger, according to Bloomberg.
