Update: After being down for over an hour, it looks like services are returning to normal for most users!
Xbox users have taken to social media to report that Xbox Live is currently down.
This means that many gamers are unable to access and play their games, in particular those installed through Xbox Game Pass. Some are reporting issues with accessing friends list or matchmaking while others, ourselves included, are simply unable to sign into their consoles at all.
One look at Down Detector shows that outage reports have spiked this evening from about 6PM AEDT and are still going:
