Xbox and 343 Industries have announced a major milestone for Halo Infinite, just ahead of the launch of Season 3: Echoes Within on March 7th.
It’s been revealed that, since being made available in the game’s Winter Update last November and as of January 2nd this year, the Forge Beta has been used to generate over 1 Million user creations.
Not only that but with the launch of the Custom Game Browser in December 2022, which allows players to host and join custom Halo matches including content made in the Forge Beta, it’s been revealed that more than 8.5 Million custom matches have been played since it became available (also as of January 2nd).
343i’s Forge Lead Designer, Michael Schorr, made the announcement over on Xbox Wire, highlighting four incredibly community-made Forge maps that are featured in the Community Collection Playlist which launched early last month.
Halo InfiniteSeason 3: Echoes Within launches on March 7th and features three new maps, a new 100-tier Battle Pass, the new M392 Bandit weapon and Shroud Screen equipment, and more.
