Another day, another special edition Xbox Wireless Controller, right? It’s absolutely become a running gag by this stage, but there’s no denying that Microsoft is serving up some spicy-hot designs of late, and this latest one is sizzling.
In its latest collaboration with the global #1 nail salon brand, OPI, Xbox has unveiled the Xbox Wireless Controller – Sunkissed Vibes OPI Special Edition, a pearlescent and pastel number featuring colours inspired by OPI’s new “Summer Make The Rules” collection. It’s channelling the “Sanding in Stilletos” shade for its front casing, a glossy “Flex on the Beach” for the d-pad, “Surf Naked” for the back case, bumpers and thumbsticks and finished off with “Summer Monday-Fridays” for the Xbox button’s glow and the triggers.

It’s all very summery, which is well and good for the parts of the world where it is summer season, but at least we get to live vicariously through a sexy Xbox controller.
The Xbox Wireless Controller – Sunkissed Vibes OPI Special Edition will be available starting from May 9th for $99.95, and will be available at the Microsoft Store.
For what it’s worth, we still think one of the best Xbox Wireless Controller releases yet is the Remix Special Edition, which is constructed from post-consumer recycled resins made with regrind – the process of turning things like CDs, plastic jugs and even old Xbox One-generation parts into raw materials to be used to create new products – and also comes packaged in with the Xbox Rechargeable Battery.
