Xbox has announced the Xbox Games With Gold line up for July 2023.
After last month brought us a couple of unique and narrative-driven games in Adios and The Vale: Shadow of the Crown, this month is serving up two very tonally different titles in tense, survival-horror Darkwood and gorgeous point-and-click puzzler, When the Past was Around, with a combined value of $34.90 in freebies for Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members.

Darkwood

This is a calming, meditative game that reflects on love and loss in a surreal world made up of disjointed rooms from memory and time.
