Just before the excellent Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon launched last month, you might have seen that Xbox was hyping up a very limited edition custom Xbox Series X console themed on the game. This thing came in a literal metal crate and sported a simple but effective design on both the console and controller.
It might not have been super easy to win that big boy given how many across the globe would have jumped into the fray, but Aussies now have a chance to score themselves at least a portion of the excitement with Xbox Australia launching a local giveaway for just the custom Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon Xbox Wireless Controller.
These things won’t be available in stores, so they’ll make a pretty special prize for fans. There are two to give away, and entry is as simple as following the @XboxANZ account on X and retweeting the post, or follow and tag a friend on the post on the XboxANZ Facebook/Instagram accounts. Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon is available now. We gave the game a 9/10 in our review, saying “Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon manages to succesfully bring back and cultivate an experience reminiscent of the old games for newer audiences without losing sight of what made the previous games so good. While it’s still relentlessly challenging and the story can be a bit drab, Fires of Rubicon is yet another success for FromSoftware with it’s satisfying and fast paced combat.”
