Bethesda has just dropped a long-awaited update to its mammoth space-faring RPG, Starfield, finally bringing with it support for Nvidia’s DLSS upscaling and frame generation solution as well as the hotly-requested ability for players to instantly eat food whenever they see it out in the world, off of any surface imaginable, rather than needing to stuff it in their pockets first and slowly snack on it from there.
Here’s what Bethesda has to say about the two headline features in this new update:
NVIDIA DLSS SUPPORT
This update introduces Nvidia DLSS support for our PC players. Compatible Nvidia graphic cards can now use DLSS Super Resolution, Deep Learning Anti-aliasing (DLAA), Nvidia Reflex Low Latency, and DLSS Frame generation.
LET THEM EAT!
By popular request, we have added the ability to ingest food and drink items upon finding them in the environment. You can enjoy those Chunks immediately or save them for later. The choice is yours.
