Playing the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy on the PS4 a year ago, I definitely wished that it was on the Nintendo Switch. The short and difficult levels lend itself to the portability of the Switch and getting my hands on it didn’t disappoint.
If you played the game on PS4 (or PS4 Pro), you’ll definitely notice that the Nintendo Switch version is a little bit less shiny. It’s far blurrier (in hand held mode) with a noticeable resolution drop. Understandably, a lot of the effects and little details on Crash have been removed to make sure the game runs. The game also drops frames, but never to a point that I felt like it heavily impacted the experience.
