A few weeks after Pokemon GO launched last July, players worked out that you could name you Eevee in order to effect which evolution you received.
Well today, Pokemon GO saw the inclusion of 80 new Johto region Pokemon courtesy of a brand new update.
Two new Eeveelutions joined the game from the Johto region and thankfully, the naming trick works with these two Pokemon too.
If you want an Espeon, you can name your Eevee “Sakura” and if you’d like an Umbreon, you can name the Eevee “Tamao”.
It’s that simple.
