Microsoft Teases Project ‘Scorpio’

In a not-so-surprising move, Xbox has officially revealed the existence of Project ‘Scorpio’, the mid-gen successor to the Xbox One, presumably coming to the market sometime next year.

Promising 4K gaming with 300 gigabytes of memory per second and 6 teraflops in performance the Xbox is s said to be the next big leap in console gaming.

Next to the teasing of specs, Microsoft has noted that all games and accessories will be compatible with the Project Scorpio, continuing the “Play Anywhere” platform that the company wants to base the entire Xbox platform on.

Currently, there aren’t much more details about the platform, but as we head throughout the summer and run towards Gamescom we might hear more sooner rather than later!
