The Evil Within 2 Is Definitely Real And The Trailer Is Terrifying

Bethesda have wasted no time in revealing several new projects at their E3 2017 Press Conference, formally announcing The Evil Within 2 for release today on Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC following the awkward Reddit leak yesterday.

Shinji Mikami, director of Resident Evil 4 and the original game, will return to The Evil Within 2 in some capacity, though it’s not known if he is the director just yet.

Details are scarce at the moment, but we do know that the game will follow detective Sebastian Castellanos once more, this time in a plot that sees him revisiting the twisted world of the STEM system to save his own daughter, Lily.

What little information we have is interesting as in the original The Evil Within, Lily was proclaimed dead in a house fire prior to the events of the game. Needless to say Sebastian’s family history is…….complicated.

Here is the trailer as seen at the conference, looking as creepy as ever.

The Evil Within 2 is due Friday, 13th October this year for Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC.

What would you like to see in a sequel to The Evil Within?
