Our friends at MCV Pacific have just posted the top 100 games of 2017 in terms of Australian retail purchases. As far as the top 10 goes, it’s what you’d expect but there’s definitely some surprises along the way.
AFL Evolution came in at 24th which is definitely a good effort for a locally produced game. Ubisoft had 15 games in the top 10 ahead of EA with 14 and Warner Bros with 13.
In terms of the first party guys, Nintendo were the big winners with 10 games in the top 100, Sony and Microsoft managed to get 5 apiece.
