We knew it was coming, but now it’s official and tied with a release date to boot. Feast your eyes on the box art for Far Cry 4.
Thanks to a press release Ubisoft has put out, we also get a few details on the setting and what to expect. Much like its predecessors, Far Cry 4 is an open-world first person shooter that aims to “take the franchise to the next level and create a game that will surprise players and exceed fans’ expectations,” said Dan Hay, Executive Producer. It’s also taking us to another unique local, the fictional Himalayan region of Kyrat. Which is ruled by our rather flamboyant friend you see above, as a self appointed king. It confirms that the reports earlier in the year that the game would be set in the Himalayas were indeed correct, no words on if we can ride elephants yet, though.
As Far Cry 4 has been confirmed for Ubisoft’s E3 presentation, we might just see them yet.
