Capcom have confirmed that not one, but two Devil May Cry titles will be coming to Xbox One and Playstation 4 in 2015. While it’s not the announcement that every fan will be waiting for, both titles are remasters of some capacity.
DmC Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition will be launching in the week starting on March 17th both digitally and physically at a price point of US$39.99 and will feature several improvements and new features over it’s predecessor.
Just some of the improvements include: –
- 1080p, 60fps presentation on both Xbox One and Playstation 4
- Rebalanced and repolished gameplay based on fan feedback
- All downloadable content (including playable Vergil) included
- Bloody Palace Survival Mode for Vergil
- New difficulty modes and game speed options
- New costumes
Capcom also announced Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition as well. While no major details were revealed for the title – which is also due for release on Playstation 4 and Xbox One sometime between June and August 2015 – it’s strongly suggested that the game will feature several new features including a playable Vergil.
A trailer for DmC Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition is available below. A teaser for Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition is due sometime soon too.
