Fresh out of this week’s issue of Famitsu comes brand new details regarding Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition. The game will be releasing on Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC later in the Winter.
Famitsu have confirmed that Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition will allow players to play not only as Dante and Nero as in the original game, but as Vergil, Trish and Lady. This marks the first time Lady has been playable in any of the games thus far.
Vergil, Trish and Lady will all be playable in any of the levels that appear in the main game. While they’ll play through the same levels as Dante and Nero in the main game, they’ll both have their own opening and closing cutscenes.
As the trailer shows, Lady will use her various armaments while Trish will use her Sparda Sword and Magic as she did in Marvel vs. Capcom 3.
Finally, a release date has been set for the title’s Japanese release – June 18th. The PC version will be coming slightly later on the 24th of June. In Japan, first print copies will include alternate costumes for Trish and Lady.
When we have local release details we’ll be sure to keep you updated.
