Nintendo have announced that they are partnering with Mojang and Microsoft to bring Super Mario and Minecraft together. On May 18th, a Super Mario Mash-Up pack will come exclusively to Minecraft: Wii U Edition as a free game update.
Players will have access to new skins, a Super Mario-themed pre-made world and a set of Super Mario themed music and item textures. There will be over 40 new Super Mario themed skins which transforms your player into Mario, Luigi, Peach a host of other Mario characters.
This seems like an absolute match made in heaven. It’s also a great bridge for young gamers who are Minecraft fans but not necessarily massive Nintendo fans.
