Assassin’s Creed Head of Content has revealed that an Assassin’s Creed TV show is on the way.
Whilst he wouldn’t reveal specifics, Ubisoft CEO, Yves Guillemot has said the the company is in talks with Netflix about bringing a Ubisoft property to the platform, but didn’t specify which franchise, so it’s more than likely that it could be Assassin’s Creed.
Ubisoft have an in-house Film and TV division called Ubisoft Motion Pictures, so it’s a no-brainer for them to turn one of their biggest, and most recognisable franchises into a TV show.
This unit produced the Rabbids Invasion TV show as well as the Assassin’s Creed Movie. The Assassin’s Creed Movie did well on the box office, but was not a huge critical success.
